Exhibition Marketing Executive

LOCATIONS:

In this 12 month contract role, working closely with the Marketing Director, you will develop and implement marketing activity with exhibitors in order to add value to the overall Studio Marketing campaign by maximising revenue and net contribution. Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively maintain database of exhibition partners and contacts and be a participator in the industry. 
  • Maintain and distribute promotional release schedule, title specific newsletters and leave behind materials. 
  • Contribute in developing and preparing presentations, pitch documents, creative briefs, cinema marketing briefs and invitations for promotions, events and campaigns. 
  • Build solid working relationships with regional exhibitors to execute and approve promotional campaigns across their circuits with key area of responsibility being ACT, NSW and SA markets. Other Markets as needed. 
  • Manage relationship and regular communication with independent cinemas and execute promotions relevant to circuit. 
  • Coordinate the execution of exhibitor promotions and communication including supply of creative assets, overseeing creative approvals with Studio via PAS, maintaining the administration and monitoring of the campaign, prize fulfilment and pre and post campaign reporting. 
  • Provide concept and creative guidance and facilitate approvals for third party and exhibitor promotions developed by WA and Qld contractors. 
  • Provide support to the WA and Qld contractors including supply of materials, content and prizing. 
  • Provide support to the Theatrical Sales Team including promo release schedules and exhibitor updates. 
  • Liaison with Promotional Agencies, Premium Suppliers, Burbank Studio and other relevant Disney LOBs on the sourcing and approval of premium items, primarily for exhibitor concessions programs. 
  • Participate in the planning and co-ordination of Events and Presentations including managing budgets, venue hire, catering, security, entertainment, theming, guest lists, invitations and RSVP management. 
  • Provide consistent updates on all exhibitor promotional activity to key stakeholders including Studio Marketing Team, Consumer Sales Team, Global Promotions Team and title specific Delivery Teams. 
  • Constantly communicate and share insights and examples of competitive activity with Studio Marketing Team, Global Promotions Team and key stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with the Communications Team on joint Sydney based screenings which may include the booking of the cinema, security, print control, issuing/printing of invitations, RSVPs and attendance at the screening. 
  • Work closely with the Studio Marketing Team to identify budget requirements for each theatrical title. 
  • Build a solid relationship with the Global Promotions and Cinema Partnerships Team and create conversations to raise local needs and share information, results and best practice. 
  • Build a solid understanding and relationship with all Disney cross lines of business in order to identify opportunities for involvement by the wider company in exhibitor promotions. 
  • Responsible for the ordering of materials on behalf of the Sydney based Studio Marketing Team including one sheets, invite blanks, in-season tickets and promotional merchandise. 
  • Liaise with Print Control and Film Ops Manager regarding the trafficking and security of prints/digital drives though the Sydney office and attending all necessary OFLC screenings. 
  • Responsible for the input of all concept and creative approvals via the Disney online PAS System for Exhibitor promos.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in a marketing role within a business environment
  • Experience in pitching and executing promotional campaigns
  • Cross function/cross business team engagement and matrix environment working and reporting
  • Understanding the importance and implementation of Corporate Brand Guidelines
  • Working and dealing with a corporate environment from a remote location (ex Studios Head Office and ex-Burbank).
  • Film/entertainment background highly desirable.

Required Education

  • Tertiary degree qualification in marketing or similar
