Assistant Manager, Media Operations

In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now looking for an Assistant Manager, Media Operations to join the expansion team. You will play a key role to provide mastering, customization, archive/restore, repurpose, aggregate and distribution of all program content across APAC.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include (but not limited) to the following:
  • Responsible for managing the technical division that has operational and technical functions including mastering, customization, archive/restore, repurpose, aggregate and distribution of all program content across Asia.
  • Coordinates in-house technology upgrades and facilitates technical logistics.
  • Responsible for work allocation, problem solving, training and performance evaluation of staff in the technical division.
  • Responsible for budget planning, cost tracking and control of division.
  • Work with Supervisors to improve workflow efficiency for the divisions.
  • Work closely with Project Managers for all business projects initiated by the company.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all technical inquiries and support to all business partners and internal customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma certification in Media Studies or Production, Business Technology or related field is required.
  • At least 5 years experience of technical operation in a Broadcast environment with 1 to 3 years of supervisory skills.
  • Sound knowledge of new media video industry trends and practices is a plus.
