Marketing Manager, Greece, Cyprus & Malta (Maternity cover)

LOCATIONS:

As part of The Walt Disney Company Greece, in close liaison with the regional marketing team and other relevant local and regional business stakeholders, lead the development and implementation of the local marketing strategy for The Walt Disney Company Greece.

  1. Implement the local brand & marketing strategy
  2. Drive growth of TWDC business through xLOB franchise plans in line with Disney’s core strategies in Greece, Cyprus & Malta.
  3. Maximise exposure of the Disney, Marvel & Lucas brands through marketing & PR strategic campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and implement integrated brand & franchise plans based on the local marketing strategy
  • Manage, initiate and monitor all marketing & PR plans for all LOBs
  • Update and communicate TWDC marketing planning calendar, identifying key content releases and marketing priorities.
  • Lead local digital marketing strategy working with regional marketing to ensure initiatives incorporate best practice approaches and are on brand and within guidelines
  • Liaise with owned media team to ensure owned platforms content calendar is aligned with local priorities and key initiatives
  • Identify and pursue PR opportunities to communicate key business messages to press as well as managing any media events and interviews
  • Manage TWDC promotional activations and events ensuring ‘best in class’ brand standards.
  • Assess planned brand/franchise research and identify local research needs
  • Provide marketing expertise and guidance for Disney Channel priority franchise campaigns
  • Work with local broadcast partners (free tv, pay tv, new media/digital partners, mobile partners etc) to develop and implement campaigns to promote priority TWDC TV product in Greece, Cyprus & Malta.
  • Inform the local & regional team on all brand projects and share all highlights through presentations
  • Lead the Disney Media+ model and strategy on a local level
  • Create and manage allocated budgets
  • Seek out additional brand growth opportunities
  • Align relationship with all LOB partners on a strategic platform


Day-to-Day

  • Manage all marketing initiatives and plans with all LOBs
  • Run all franchise marketing campaigns and brand projects
  • Build and maintain excellent relationship with local and regional teams
  • Liaise and build relations with all business partners as distributors, licensees, broadcasters, promotional partners, local promoters.
  • Communicate all marketing initiatives and plans, internally with the local and regional team and externally with all relevant partners
  • Secure and improve existing business and initiate & launch proactively new projects and properties
  • Network on a regional level

Preferred QualificationsSignificant proven experience of general marketing including experience in brand marketing
Demonstrable experience of leading the execution of local marketing strategy
Demonstrable experience of team management
Proven relationships building skills at a senior level both internally & externally
Good communicator and presenter
Organisational savvy
Exceptional time management & organisational abilities
Capable of working well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
