Analyst, Travel & Expense

LOCATIONS:

The Analyst, T&E is responsible for enforcing compliance with Disney’s Travel and Expense Policies (T&E), including but not limited to, Travel Expense and Commercial card product (corporate travel card, procurement card and central travel accounts). Perform auditing of transactions submitted against the policies. Act as the liaison between The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) and our commercial card issuer and conduct card administration functions. Provide superior customer service support to end-users and stakeholders. Review procedures to identify/ propose process improvements that will reduce/ eliminate defects and drive efficiencies. Position reports directly to T&E Manager.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and Company policies/procedures, as they relate to the areas of travel and expense management
  • Process and audit T&E transaction within Concur and SAP Enterprise financial systems.
  • Support stakeholders and suppliers in the APAC region
  • Professionally respond to customer inquiries by using discretion and judgment, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific guidelines related to Travel and Expense Management
  • Partner with internal clients to correct errors, identify root cause of deficiencies and recommend appropriate process changes to reduce defects in the process
  • Maintains positive and trusted relationships with customers
  • Exceeds Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
  • Establishes strong working relationships with our bank contacts by partnering with them to serve our customer base needs
  • Conducts card administration functions for all Disney card products
  • Safeguards employee information
  • Special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Written and verbal Japanese fluency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related major
  • 1 year Travel and Expense, Accounting or equivalent experience, preferably with a large-scale employer or fresh graduates with high motivation and learning capability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to clearly and concisely articulate business issues and frame-up solutions
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
  • Experience working with Travel and Expense Management, including Commercial Card Programs
  • Concur and SAP system knowledge
  • Audit and compliance experience
  • Experience with a multinational employer and working in a multicultural environment
