As the Front-end Web Development Intern, you’ll work on our customer web application, Courier. You’ll get first-hand experience with how a team manages projects from design to deployment, while developing new features and working out bugs. You’ll also be participating in stand-ups and various other agile ceremonies. Basic QualificationsWhat we are looking for…

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, & Javascript (with JQuery and other JS Libraries), UNIX/LINUX environment
  • Familiarity with software version control, preferably Git/GitHub
  • Desire to learn
  • Sense of humor

Preferred QualificationsExperience with any of the following: ReactJS, AngularJS, Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, Wordpress, PHP, RESTful web services
Required Education Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program. Preferred Education

Currently working on or recently completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics, HCDE, or related field

  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2018 through early August/Sept 2018

  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Seattle, WA area

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
