The DTSS Content Management Systems team delivers content management and publishing solutions that are closely aligned with business segment strategies, while providing subject matter expertise and facilitating knowledge share in the CMS space across the company. We are experts in content management and publishing, and are focused on providing a portfolio of scalable, flexible and cost-effective CMS solutions, including the GoPublish CMS suite.
ResponsibilitiesA Day in the Life…
• Implement features under the guidance of the project lead
• Collaborate with business technology teams to integrate DTSS services on their applications

• Create user applications that transform complex tasks and information into a user-friendly, engaging learning experiences
Basic QualificationsWhat we are looking for…

  • Java development experience
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in design and development using object oriented techniques.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of non-relational databases (Cassandra, Mongo)
  • AWS Experience
  • Triplestore Knowledge
  • Experience working in agile teams (e.g., Scrum, XP)
  • Maven experience

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Computer Science

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2018 through August 2018
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Seattle area
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
