Director, Client Solutions

The Client Solutions group functions as the account management and accountable business group within BAMTECH to our clients. The team oversees relationship management and delivery of industry-leading streaming technology solutions to sports and media clients.
In the Director, Client Solutions role you will manage a portfolio of strategic customers and will report to a Vice President, Client Solutions. You will serve as the primary liaison for client relationships to ensure that the business, product, and technology goals of each property are executed timely, accurately and within budget.
The Client Solutions group is the front line of the BAMTECH organization. Team members are self-starters, highly organized, diplomatic, excellent communicators of both business and technology objectives, can multi-task, and work well in a flat, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage the full life cycle of client-specific technology solutions, including initial definition and build out and post launch evolution
  • Primary day-to-day relationship owner with client executives and product owners
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationship based on client’s strategy/business needs and BAMTECH’s platform capabilities
  • P&L approach to manage account profitability, include revenue growth and balancing staffing/budgeting constraints with delivery needs
  • Lead cross-functional efforts across development (product, design, multimedia and technology) and operations (video and tech operations, finance, legal, customer support, business development) teams
  • Assist with requirements gathering, scoping, road-mapping, and management of release cycle timelines
  • Primary point of escalation for client or executive level issues related to account, development, or operational issues
  • Communicate regularly with senior executive team on all aspects of the client relationship and product
  • Drive team members to deliver projects on time, on budget and consistent with the strategic intent and objectives
  • Develop and negotiate client budgets based on evolving product and operating requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience working in the intersection of media and technology (media company, digital agency, technology company, or management consulting) and experience with client, account, or partner management
  • Experience with streaming video (SVOD, live), OTT business models, and TV Everywhere (TVE) products; keen business and product instincts
  • Experience working with technology products and ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
  • Fluency in emerging web, mobile and media technologies, industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects from conception to implementation with demonstrated outstanding results
  • Ability to multi-task across a wide range of initiatives and work under strict deadlines
  • Prior P/L leadership responsibility, including cross functional management of multiple revenue streams including advertising, subscription products and e-commerce
  • Strong problem solving and influencer skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including persuasive presentation ability to senior management
  • Ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of client personnel and BAMTECH staff

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • MBA preferred
