Member Service Specialist - Partners Federal Credit Union

ResponsibilitiesThis position is a “call center” representative of Partners Federal Credit Union. Member Service Specialists answer inbound calls from Members and potential Members who have questions or requests regarding their account(s) or other PFCU products and services. They interact with our Members in an efficient and effective manner while providing complete and accurate information. They use consultative sales techniques to cross-sell multiple financial products and services to ensure that Member financial needs are met. This position requires the use of several computer systems to view account information and document any changes to the Members’ account(s). By providing world-class Member service, they retain Members and build Member loyalty. Basic Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience
• Strong telephone etiquette skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and technology
• Ability to manage/resolve conflict
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated continuous improvement process skills
• Proven ability to multitask, while maintaining courtesy, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a high-volume inbound/outbound call center
• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a financial institution, such as a credit union or bank
• Minimum 1 year lending experience
• Minimum 1 year sales experience
• Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian-Creole

Required Education

• High school degree or equivalent required
