  • Partner with management to identify business opportunities for any Ad Tech initiatives
  • Leverage existing domain expertise and ensure adequate knowledge transfer amongst the Ad Tech engineering team
  • Help guide roadmap, and align to team capacity
  • Innovate and enhance overall Ad Tech functions include ad transcode, ad insertion and reporting
  • Drive technical, architectural, and organizational decisions, ensuring BAMTECH will build a scalable, efficient, and maintainable infrastructure
  • Optimize interactions and processes between internal digital advertising engineering resources and other engineering leads, as well as product management and other stakeholders
  • Budget and plan team capacity with stakeholders, including finance. Own overall TCO for all Ad Tech services and infrastructure
  • Manage / mentor software engineering resources on execution as well as growth
  • Establish enterprise code deployments and code review processes

Basic Qualifications

  • Deep experience working across Google's DFP and Freewheel’s MRM ad serving technologies, including third party ad networks
  • Acute understanding of video streaming infrastructure, video streaming protocols, and ad serving
  • Demonstrated ability to architect low-latency, high load systems that scale to millions of concurrent requests
  • Deep understanding of utilizing on-prem and cloud resources for both scale and resiliency
  • Has strong video adtech experience, and familiar with all industry trends and stands including VAST, VPAID and Header Bidding
  • Experienced in code reviews, Dev Ops, and other continuous integration principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and coach a strong team involved with product creation, implementation and vision
  • 10+ years experience in leading an engineering team
  • Proven ability to coach and lead a team that executes consistently, rapidly, and effectively
