Sr. Director, Lifecycle Marketing

The Sr. Director, Lifecycle Marketing role will manage a customer through Free Trial sign-up, promoting customer retention, increasing engagement, mitigating churn and improving lifetime value.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and leading a team of lifecycle marketing specialists
  • Building world-class marketing automation systems
  • Implementing and using CRM systems (such as Salesforce), email service providers (such as Dyn or Zeta), push/mobile SaaS providers (such as Localytics)
  • Establishing CRM policies and processes
  • Driving conversion rates, retention and increasing customer lifetime value through acquisition, engagement & messaging strategies
  • Development and optimization of campaigns across all customer touchpoints
  • KPI ownership around core business drivers

Basic Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in using data and analytics to drive campaign optimization
  • A/B testing
  • Ability to work cross-divisionally and manage resources in a highly matrixed environment
  • Must be highly collaborative with experience in product/engineering-driven organizations
  • Excels at evangelizing requirements, ideas and strategies backed up with data
  • Comfortable in fast moving, fluid environments; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent presentation skills among peers and in executive situations
  • Enjoys working on high-profile, industry-defining projects

  • Product/engineering
  • Analytics/data science

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

  • Master’s Degree-level education preferred
