Executive Compensation Analyst

The Executive Compensation Analyst will provide extensive analytical and research support for the Executive Compensation team. The role will assist with design, administration, governance and communication of The Walt Disney Company’s executive compensation programs. Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation programs for cost impact, effectiveness, legal and regulatory compliance and alignment with shareholder interests
  • Assist in the analysis and administration of enterprise-wide bonus and long-term incentive programs, including budgeting and planning, tracking, modeling and delivery
  • Facilitate the ongoing review and approval of executive compensation actions
  • Research and identify market trends and best practices, participate in surveys and provide analysis
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Compensation partners to communicate plan designs, administer existing programs and assist with company-wide projects
  • Maintain and monitor effectiveness of current processes
  • Help develop and prepare material for Compensation Committee meetings, including strategic program design changes and compensation recommendations
  • Work with Accounting and Legal to provide data and analysis and help prepare executive compensation related materials for the annual proxy statement
  • Help develop persuasive materials for senior management’s consideration and approval
  • Complete special projects as they arise

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' executive compensation or related compensation experience, preferably with a large corporate employer or leading consulting firm
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
  • Strong aptitude for research, analysis and data management
  • Business-oriented mindset
  • Creative and critical thinker
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; SAP, Success Factors, Cognos and Access experience a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting statements
  • Ability to understand and relate to multiple stakeholders from various disciplines (e.g., finance, legal, operations)
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Education

  • Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics or Business degree preferred
