Senior Travel & Expense Analyst

Travel & Expense Management oversees the commercial card program and expense reimbursement for more than 40K employees of The Walt Disney Company. The organization supports all segments of the enterprise such as Consumer Products, Corporate, Disney Interactive, Media, ESPN, Parks & Resorts, and Studios from a domestic and international perspective. Key responsibilities of the department include: administering the T&E and Procurement Card policies globally; reimbursing employees business travel related expenses within Concur; auditing expense reports to ensure compliance to policy; reducing financial risk through personal use and fraud detection; governing business process improvements within Concur; and negotiating commercial card contracts and managing the bank issuer relationships. The goals of Travel & Expense Management are to reduce fraud and financial risk, improve compliance and create value, improve overall T&E user experience, leverage expertise and optimize operations, and promote cast development and professional growth.
Responsibilities

  • Lead servicing and support for commercial card and Concur expense related matters for Disney senior executives
  • Build relationships and act as a key partner for Enterprise Financial Services controllers and leaders
  • Research and investigate technical and complex cardholder inquiries using discretion and judgment, selecting and explaining the best solution
  • Lead efforts and partner with Disney Fiancial Systems to update/add to training content based on analysis of cardholder needs
  • Perform complex data analysis, supporting the T&E organization
  • Accurately and efficiently perform routine processes and complete proactive measuresf to drive T&E process improvements/cost reduction initiatives
  • Build relationships with Concur Audit Services and the Concur User Support Desk to drive improvements and streamline the end-user experience
  • Prepare effective PowerPoint decks and training materials ;deliver presentations and write clear and conscise communication messaging to end-users
  • Maintain positive and trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders and external clients
  • Establish strong working relationships with bank contacts and partner with them to serve customer needs
  • Provide leadership and support within the T&E organization – training program administrators on new processes and changes within the Concur expense system
  • Provide leadership and support for the implementation of the global commercial card program
  • Conduct card administration functions for all Disney card products
  • Complete system testing and Concur integration testing for new audit rules/changes in configuration
  • Safeguards employee information and maintain confidentiality in resolving cardholder matters
  • Develop and maintain process maps and standard operating procedures (SOP) for process documentation accuracy and cross-training
  • Position requires work to be completed during west coast time zone

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel/Visio, etc)
  • Prepare effective PowerPoint decks; excellent presentation skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and complex analytical skills
  • Strong ability to interact effectively and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with key stakeholders
  • Experience leading/implementing process improvements

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

  • MBA
