Department Description:
The Foundational Technologies Team manages several platforms, mainly centered around Identity and Access Management. At its core, the IAM suite is a conglomerate of services and products centered around authentication, authorization, federation, access management and many more IAM offerings.
ResponsibilitiesWe believe in our interns doing cast-facing work that actually makes a difference. We’re committed to your learning and development in your chosen skill set, whether that be UX design, usability testing, back end development, or the full stack. As a Full Stack Development Intern, you’ll work on a variety of applications Ranging from self service onboarding tools to Tier 1 cast facing web application or api’s. You’ll get first-hand experience with how a team manages projects from design to deployment, while developing new features and working out bugs. You’ll also be participating in stand-ups and various other agile ceremonies.
Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, & Javascript
  • Java, Node
  • Desire to learn
  • Sense of humor
  • Self Driven and Highly Motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Angular and Material Design
  • Experience with Node
  • Experience with RESTful web services and AJAX
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems

Required Education

  • Currently working on or recently completed and undergraduate degree

Preferred Education

  • Currently working on or recently completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics, HCDE, or related field

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2018 through August 2018

  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

  • Able to provide own transportation in the Orlando, FL area

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Must be at least 18 years of age


This is a full-time position, but we are flexible with your weekly schedule, as well as start and end dates.
