Real Estate Strategy Internship, Corporate - Summer 2018

As a Corporate Real Estate Strategy intern, you will support the team’s efforts to develop long-term real estate strategies for TWDC-owned properties worldwide by:

  • Creating comprehensive assessments of TWDC’s corporate real estate portfolio
  • Understanding overall Corporate and Segment strategies and aligning TWDC real estate decisions
  • Researching geography-specific real estate market and workplace trends
  • Supporting outreach to government and civic organizations in collaboration with government and public relations groups
  • Reviewing and interpreting municipal code and development agreements
  • Assisting with special projects

Basic QualificationsWhat we are looking for…

  • A critical thinker with excellent quantitative and analytical skills and ability to synthesize research to inform decision making
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and innovative mindset
  • Interest in real estate
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred QualificationsCoursework or previous work experience in business administration, economics, real estate finance, or urban studies and planning Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Finance, Economics or closely related field.

  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2018 through August 2018
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 35 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank/Glendale/Los Angeles area
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
