Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist

LOCATIONS:

As part of Marvel’s Digital Media group, this position will play a critical role in the implementation and actionable analysis of the company's customer experience and customer behaviors across our digital properties. This role requires extensive hands-on experience and expertise with Adobe (formerly Omniture) Analytics tools (SiteCatalyst, Discover) and Tealium. Additionally, specific experience in developing measurement plans and tagging strategies (as well as having the ability to QA tags) for Adobe analytics is required.
Responsibilities

  • Working with key marketing, sales and product stakeholders to understand the evolving business objectives in order to develop the appropriate measurement plan and tagging strategy for Adobe Analytics
  • Create individual project and/or maintain existing tech specification documents for website redesigns, new mobile apps and/or campaign launches with Adobe Analytics, Tealium, ObservePoint, etc
  • Hands-on knowledge working with data layers such as Tealium to expose user events and actions on webpages
  • Perform data quality audits, QA tags, identify data collection issues, suggest improvements and implement fixes
  • Provide thought leadership to data collection and ways to standardize across a global environment
  • Provide assistance with operational analytics requirements for technology infrastructure data tools
  • Establish governance, best practice operational and ad-hoc processes for data capture changes
  • Act as a liaison between business owners and application development teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • 3+ years’ experience implementing Omniture web analytics
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics tools (SiteCatalyst, Ad hoc Analysis) required
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira or Workfront
  • Experience in client-facing roles is a plus
  • Experience with Tealium
  • Experience developing web measurement plans and leading Adobe Analytics tagging implementations
  • Practical problem solving, ability to identify and interpret patterns, trends and anomalies in data
  • Strong relationship-builder, outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skill
  • Prefer proficiency in Web Browser debugging
  • Prefer ability to read JavaScript to successfully test tags

Required Education

Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline
