Audience Development Coordinator

LOCATIONS:

Audience Development Coordinator will support content planning and execution across Marvel platforms and work in close collaboration with off platform publishing, specifically social channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). Reporting to the Audience Development Manager the candidate should be a creative, detail oriented, multi-tasker who thinks critically, thrives under pressure, and takes initiative in a highly collaborative environment. ResponsibilitiesAssist the audience development team in all aspects of growing audiences on digital platforms through performance analysis, project management, page moderation, strategy, and more, including:

  • Collaborate with the New Media team on the planning & execution of digital conent
  • Website analytics and social media metrics reporting
  • Provide regular updates to relevant business units, ensuring goals are being met and providing recommendations and best practices when necessary
  • Monitor and report platform updates, bugs, or changes that affect day-to-day execution or overall community management
  • Brainstorm and attend meetings to assist with strategy and provide creative ideas

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams in a professional and polished manner
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube
  • Working understanding of digital content & social media analysis and performance tracking
  • Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality, using good judgment as a brand steward and adhering to strict brand guidelines with an exceptional sense of accountability
  • Highly flexible with the ability to manage and shift between multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented while having an eye for the big picture
  • Resourcefulness and demonstrable critical thinking skills when working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications1-2 years experience working in digital content & social media; strong internships will be considered Required Education Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, preferably Communications or Marketing
