We are looking for high-performing, motivated individuals who are generalists and proficient in many technologies and languages. Our team embraces disruptive thinkers who can drive software innovation. ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Be Creating:
You will be instrumental in building scalable, extensible and easily maintainable solutions in support of Studio initiatives. We build and operate everything from the technology engine that keeps the Studio running to consumer applications that touch millions of people.
What we do:

• Build video transcoding, content management, and video streaming services
• Develop micro-services based on SpringBoot/Java 8/Kotlin/Node.js
• Build UIs based on React, Redux, and Material UI
• Deploy services on AWS/Kubernetes/Docker using Continuous Delivery
• Follow Agile development practices

Basic QualificationsWhat’s Your Story?
At a minimum we’re looking for the following in a candidate:

• Have a track record of getting things done while keeping an eye on delivering the right thing.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
• Experience with Agile software development, DevOps culture, and test focused development
• Experience with JVM based development or Node.js
• Experience with client-side javascript and React is a plus
• Familiarity with functional programming paradigms
• Familiarity with entertainment industry is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with entertainment industry is a plus

Required Education

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience
