Eyewitness News seeks a digital content producer who loves to create video. Part of this position involves leading our digital and social efforts on the weekend. This producer must thrive in a high-energy, non-stop news environment to help lead us on breaking news and to create compelling content that our users will want to share.
Some of the specific duties include creating original videos, directing live coverage, optimizing content for more reach and impact, producing breaking news and other content on abc7ny.com and helping to manage our social media presence and engage our audience.
The producer in this position must have experience working in a newsroom, strong news judgment, strong video production skills (such as Adobe Premiere), be an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable in best practices for digital and social media. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver consistently strong content across all platforms to ensure Eyewitness News always goes above and beyond to be New York's No. 1 news.
