The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests of Disney/ABC senior management and executives of ABC Entertainment. The position involves greeting and directing all visitors in a professional manner and performing administrative duties as assigned. Responsibilities

  • Greet and announce visitors, keep alert to floor access, monitor lobby phones and guests in the reception area
  • Reserve conference rooms when requested by employees
  • Responsible for accepting incoming packages and ensure that messengers pick up the correct packages for outside delivery
  • Periodically clean and restock lobby reception area as needed
  • Answer and route all calls in a professional manner
  • Completion of other projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area
  • Previous front desk/receptionist experience preferred
  • Ability to comfortably interact and use discretion with high profile executives and clients both via phone and in person
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word & Excel
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface appropriately at all levels
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality required
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Required Education

  • High school degree; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
