Receptionist
LOCATIONS:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests of Disney/ABC senior management and executives of ABC Entertainment. The position involves greeting and directing all visitors in a professional manner and performing administrative duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Greet and announce visitors, keep alert to floor access, monitor lobby phones and guests in the reception area
- Reserve conference rooms when requested by employees
- Responsible for accepting incoming packages and ensure that messengers pick up the correct packages for outside delivery
- Periodically clean and restock lobby reception area as needed
- Answer and route all calls in a professional manner
- Completion of other projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area
- Previous front desk/receptionist experience preferred
- Ability to comfortably interact and use discretion with high profile executives and clients both via phone and in person
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Word & Excel
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface appropriately at all levels
- Strong work ethic and punctuality required
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Required Education
- High school degree; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
