Manager - Marketing Strategy

Here’s your chance to work with one of the best marketing teams in the entertainment business. ABC Studios Marketing is seeking a Manager, Marketing Strategy and Development. This position will help drive and execute the marketing strategy for ABC shows with a focus on daytime, late-night, and special projects.
Responsibilities

  • Assist Vice President in role as manager for ABC Studios Marketing
  • Identify and communicate to key stake holders marketing opportunities
  • Coordinate and manage the production of strategic briefs for all ABC Studio shows
  • Continually update strategic marketing documents with current key art, tag lines and creative messaging for shows.
  • Coordination acquisition and distribution of marketing assets to key partners, internal and external.
  • Manage external studio and network marketing relationships
  • Socialize network/partner marketing plans to key Studio executives, strategizing ways to share and leverage assets and tactics
  • Provide support on home entertainment, SVOD, and EST relationships
  • Provide support for integration and communication with international partners
  • Initiate synergy requests for non-ABC network series
  • Manage ABCS and social websites.
  • Anticipate long-term departmental needs and be a constant and consistent contributor to overall team.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing strategy and/or creative
  • Experience creating and managing the creative collateral for strategic marketing campaigns
  • Advanced experience and understanding of digital, e-commerce, social media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing strategy and/or creative
  • Experience leading or partnering with digital marketing to effectively drive integrated campaign across multiple platforms
  • Agency experience
  • Experience in TV marketing, sponsorships and/or promotions preferred

Required Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
