Assoc Food Safety Mgr


Serve as the daily operational food safety management role, oversee food safety for all F&B and Food circulation facilities within his responsible area, include food safety system establishment and maintain, food safety project develop and implement, ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the system.. Internally this role is required provide the day-to-day direction, supervise, analyze and assist on setting up action plan. Externally this role is required smooth communication and celebration with related department. This role is required to use sound technical judgment to perform and lead others in the identification, assessment, analysis and solving of a broad spectrum of food safety management demanding across a diverse group of Shanghai Disney Resort. Responsibilities

  • Assist food safety system establishment and maintain.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of food safety program policies and procedures as needed.
  • Vendor management include supervise 3rd party audit company and conduct audit.
  • Periodically conduct audit on cast canteens and RD&E tenants.
  • Keep good relationship with cast canteen operator and RD&E tenants.
  • Cooperate with chemical vendor on Cleaning and sanitize plan setup and validate.
  • Cooperate with external warehouse vendor on food safety procedure setup.
  • Validate the service vendor follow the procedure and maintain the procedure if needed.
  • Work with horticulture team on pest control program and make input from F&B perspective.
  • Food safety computer system justified and valid.
  • Develop, conduct, and follow Cast member food safety training.
  • Establish and conduct different tier operation audit.
  • Analyze the test data of internal lab to improve.
  • Accompany regulatory officials during routine and special inspection processes.
  • Assist on nutrition guideline conduct.
  • External technical resource research & communication.
  • Legislation follow, analyze and baked in SHDR system.
  • Media monitor, analyze impact and action plan setup from food safety perspective.
  • Routine Meeting with Food Safety team of OP Headquarter to exchange food safety performance and get support from their end.
  • Event food safety support and quarantine.
  • Assist on management of food safety complain and issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree or above in Public Health, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related field.
  • At least 7 years’ supervisory experience in a broad spectrum of food safety and regulatory roles with experience in conducting food safety audits. Catering, hotel or 3rd Party Company preferred.
  • Experience in HACCP/GFSI Recognition system implementation, development and application of food safety standards.
  • Working knowledge of local regulatory requirements and international food safety standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications.
  • Proven task management experience.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and also collaboratively as a team player.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively at multiple levels.
  • Mandarin and English communication skills are essential for this position.
