Technician, E/I (Attractions)

LOCATIONS:

Complete preventive / corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for Attractions (rides) electrical and controlling system.
Responsibilities

  • Following the preventive and Corrective maintenance schedule to complete the rides maintenance activity in time; deliver the good quality maintenance, ensure the rides safety and reliability; including AC/DC motors, motor controls, lighting and variable frequency drives. This will entail pushing/pulling equipment in excess of 50 lbs., lifting tools and equipment less than 50 lbs., climbing stairs and ladders while grasping parts and tools. May work indoors or outside during inclement weather and on any shift. Requires frequent handling of powered/manual tools weighing 5-50 lbs.
  • Join the rides installation, testing and adjustment during the project phase, support WDI team and finish the assignment by them. Proactively learn and grasp the principle of rides equipment and system.
  • Proactive to Read and understand detailed instruction, manual, logic diagram, drawings etc.
  • Trouble shooting for ride failure, independently ability to use common hand tools, meters, gauges and other associated test and measurement equipment. Support management to do RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Prepare maintenance record to Support MAXIMO specialist, ensure correct maintenance document accurate and timely.

Basic Qualifications

  • Being familiar with PLC control and hold electrician certificate,
  • 4+ years working experience in instrumentation or electrical system; Demonstrated trouble shooting skills, as well as continuous improvement maintenance skills
  • Able to read logic diagram.
  • Available to work all shifts (i.e., 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift), weekends and holidays as deemed required by management.
  • Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational school or above (Mechanical Engineering or automation Engineering is preferred).
  • Working experience in amusement facilities and hold the certificate is highly preferred. Technician in Metro line and Aircraft Company is preferred.
  • Being familiar with Rockwell / Allen Bradley system is good.
  • Maintenance Experience working with JV or MNC is preferred.

  • Your work location is Shanghai Disney Resort in Chuan Sha, Pudong New Area, Shanghai.
