Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning, Liquidity

Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in mainland China, is a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity, and adventure. The resort is home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disney town, a large shopping, dining and entertainment venue, a Broadway-style them park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. As we continue to grow and create this magical destination, we are looking for a variety of world-class professionals to help our plans take shape. We are seeking for candidates with accomplished professional experience, curiosity and desire to learn and grow, demonstrated analytical skills and outstanding academic records to fill the position of Senior Financial Analyst.
The Senior Financial Analyst will work as part of a team supporting the Shanghai Disney Resort (SHDR) by performing financial planning activities

ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct monthly cash forecast analyses
  • Perform AOP/LTP/AOB cash forecasts and ensure accuracy
  • Validate the quality of various inputs from internal stakeholders
  • Be responsible for variance explanation to support management review
  • Maintain and develop financial models to support business needs
  • Ad hoc assignment as needed
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on liquidity analyses
  • Support shareholders communication for liquidity analysis

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience supporting financial/business analysis, strategic planning related functions in consulting
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant analytical business degree
  • Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis, critical thinking and financial modeling
  • High integrity and commitment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a complex and diverse business unit of a multi-national company
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, confident
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills and detail-oriented
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Treasury related working experience/knowledge
  • Enthusiasm for the entertainment and travel industries
