Associate Manager, Marketing


Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in Mainland China, is a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity and adventure. The resort is home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, featuring six lands, as well as two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district, a Broadway-style theatre, Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland is a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. As we continue to develop this magical destination, we’re looking for a variety of world-class professionals including front line Cast Members and an innovative development team to help our plans take shape. Responsibilities1. Support line manager to partner with Marketing Strategy team to develop yearly integrated plan and drive cross-disciplines cooperation toward the achievement of overall marketing objective.
2. Co-lead and execute the assigned activation campaign, from planning to execution, with cross LOBs and agencies project teams.
3. Develop and implement Shanghai Disney Resort event strategy to best support the business objective and activation plan.
5. Establish, manage, and maintain relationship with key agency partners.
6. Oversee, adjust, and optimize programs for continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications1. 6+ years of working experience with two to four years of marketing / brand management experience. Have certain experiences in leading mature/new brand marketing programs, integrated communication, digital marketing, media plans, and word of mouth marketing.
2. A deep understanding of Chinese consumer, knowing how to apply consumers’ insight to effective marketing models.
3. Good judgment for evaluating creative executions.
4. Take full advantage of resources; creative problem solver.
5. Good team player, be able to collaborate with teammates to overcome obstacles.
6. Good communication and presentation skills.
7. Good project management skills; experience working in a very fast paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining acute attention to detail and get things done at high quality.
8. Ability to work orderly with high motivation.
9. Bachelor’s degree; major in marketing, business, communications or equivalent are preferred.
10. Fluent in Mandarin and English, both in verbal communication and writing.
