Marketing Manager, Event
LOCATIONS:
Job Description Responsibilities
- Lead project management of Marketing-drive events both in-market (e.g. Mall Event, Trade Fair, Media Event) and in-park (e.g. Media open house)
- Ensure the project objective and intended marketing messaging is being translated into the event, reaching our target consumer
- Ensure execution excellence, by working closely with vender on briefing, costing, scheduling, and supervision
- Facilitate internal approval from Marketing, Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering
- Manage cost and timeline to ensure event to be executed in an on-time and on-budget manner
- Understand brief from Market, Public Relations and Integrated Marketing Communications Team and translate into action plan
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related disciplines
- At least 8 years of experience in event management
- Excellent communication skill to work with both external and internal partners
- Able to translate and deliver clear event messaging: simple and easy to understand by consumer, and align with the holistic marketing/PR/sales campaign
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Travelling is required
