Analyst, Revenue Management and Pricing – Hotels

LOCATIONS:

The position will support the Revenue Management and Pricing Manager in hotel revenue management. He / she will be the hotel systems’ champion at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) to drive systematic hotel revenue management practice. In addition, he / she will provide analytical decision support for demand pricing and promotion, and measure the results.
Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Hotel RM controls and strategies across all channels and systems
  • Configure promotion setup in various systems including eChannels and OTAs
  • Provide analytical decision support through various analytics tools and provide regular reporting tasks for management reporting
  • Provide administrative support to product development communication & measurement reports
  • Conduct forecast using automated RMS
  • Manage RMS, PMS and other systems (OTAs) bookings and maintenance

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with background in Hospitality Industry is preferred
  • Hands on experience and knowledge in Hotel systems including RMS (e.g. IDeaS, Duetto or EzRMS), PMS (e.g. Opera) and various OTAs (e.g. SynXis). Proven ability to master large amount of raw data, perform sophisticated analysis and interpret business implications accordingly
  • Able to work in a flexible and fast-paced work environment. Proactive and confident self-starter
  • Strong understanding and attention to detail, with the ability to present and explain concisely to other Line of Business partners
  • Strong working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Excel (Marco / Visual Basics) and Microsoft Word and Powerpoint and Database management tools (e.g. Business Objects / SQL)
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, including a proficiency in clear, concise and compelling written communication
  • Possess an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
