Disney Gift Card Services, Inc. is an enterprise entity responsible for creating, launching and maintaining Gift Card and Stored Value products sold and distributed globally through a variety of channels, including online, corporate sales, retail stores, and other partnerships. The team consists of Program Management, Business Development, Marketing, Guest Service and Finance groups dedicated to enhancing the Guest experience, reducing payment friction and supporting Walt Disney Company business initiatives.


Responsibilities

A Day in the Life…
The Project Analyst Intern will play an integral role in various project deliverables assisting and supporting the Disney Gift Card Services Program Management team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the team with tasks including, but not limited to, reporting on project statuses and updates, documentation, testing, training and troubleshooting. They will partner with technical and operational teams at various levels to gather and provide requirements for projects and process improvements. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for sustainment activities including, but not limited to, managing system access and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple competing priorities with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external partners at various levels

  • Basic understanding of database structure

  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of cloud environment and database structure
  • Experience with project management and working with external vendors/partners

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or Information Technology

Additional Information

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Must provide full work availability

  • Must provide own transportation to/from work

  • Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)


Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2018 through January 2019. Candidates must be fully available to work full time any time including days, nights, weekends, and holidays for the duration of the internship.
Housing:

  • Florida based positions only: A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
