Walt Disney World Co. currently has full-time openings for experienced Attractions Mechanics. ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventative maintenance on Attractions, show vehicles, show systems, props, and special effects.
Basic Qualifications

  • Must have multi-year experience in millwright assembly.
  • Must have working knowledge of gearbox rebuild, bearing replacement, and setting bearing pre-load.
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical assemblies, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading and understanding of mechanical and assembly drawings and working to all manufacturers’ torque tolerance specifications.
  • This will require troubleshooting show and ride mechanical elements with the ability to interface with electronic controls.
  • This is a field service position that may include work from ladders, elevated platforms as well as working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-year experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an Industrial production facility with a dedicated, in-house maintenance organization.
