You will make an impact by supporting family and youth conservation education programing, while also delivering content onstage at The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

  • Inspire change and daily conservation action through informal education and interpretation
  • Create Magical Moments for Guests, deliver formal presentations, and initiate one-on-one interactions
  • Lead the facilitation of conservation-based programs comprised of groups of students from around the country and world, grades 3-12
  • Conceptualize logistics and teach new programs which may be in development

Basic QualificationsWhat You Bring to the Role:

  • An ability to excel in an extremely flexible, fast paced environment focusing on high Guest satisfaction.
  • Experience working with the public in a formal or informal learning setting (i.e classroom, zoo, aquarium, museum, or science center)
  • Strong public speaking experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid U.S driver’s license.
  • Experience utilizing computer design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Preferred QualificationsThe Intern’s preferred qualifications include:

  • Ability to communicate verbally and written in two or more languages
  • SCUBA certification

Required Education

Required Education:

  • Junior, Senior or recent college graduate of Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • Studying directly Education, Zoology, Marine Science, Environmental or Life Sciences, Recreation, or related major

Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must provide full work availability
• Must provide own transportation to/from work
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2018 - January 2018. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing: A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
