Now is your chance to join our talented team that delivers unparalleled creative content to audiences around the world.
The Medical Assistant works with Disney Providers to both prepare and assist with patient visits. This may include follow up on all prior testing and results to expedite physician review and streamline patient flow. The Medical Assistant will assist Providers for Initial Exams, Re-check Appointments, Medical Surveillance/Regulatory Compliance exams and other types of Occupational Clinic Provider visits. In general, the Medical Assistant brings the patient into exam room, performs intake processes and preps patient for physician exam (including conducting preliminary medical tests - Snellen Eye tests, grip strength measurements, range of motion studies). The Medical Assistant then assists the Provider with medical exams as requested. The Medical Assistant completes the patient visit by fulfilling Patient Care Orders in the clinic as part of the visit.
