QA Tester

A support function of the QA department. An individual contributor that executes test plans on pre-release versions of software to detect and record product defects. Tests software for reliability, consistency and absence of product defects. Compiles lists of defects or design issues found during testing. Please note this is a non-employee position. If selected, you will need to sign up through a staffing agency to be paid. Responsibilities

• Finds bugs, writes up clear and easy to understand bugs
• Organize test script testing
• Create test scripts
• Come up with ideas and solutions for testing product
• Work extended hours when necessary
• Assist with developing test plan time line
• Functionality testing of all DIS products through embedded testing
• Special projects or assignments

Basic QualificationsOne to two years’ experience working as a Tester in Quality Assurance. Has a comprehensive understanding of the test cycles and processes. Readily identifies and articulates problem areas. Understands operating systems, mobile devices, (iOS, Android, Win8). Must have the ability to handle high pressure situations and prioritize multiple projects. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work with varied staff members and personalities. Required Education High School Diploma, some college (preferably in the area of Computer Science or Entertainment related area), or equivalent interactive industry experience.
